It’s about time you did this, I agree with your wife! You are a great writer, and I have enjoyed working with you immensely! I am now actively wishing you would come to work at KU Med Center L & D. They would benefit from your good sense and direct talk. 🙂
Good luck on your new endeavor!

Really enjoyed reading this. It brought wonderful memories of my own childhood-I always loved the the long caramel suckers the best and the Twinkies that we got from the Hostess delivery driver. It was such an innocent time. Dad would take us to about every house within 8 blocks around us. Sometimes to the point of near exhaustion for us. I think he enjoyed it as much as we did!! He loved candy, too and he knew we would share. Thanks for sharing this. Feels like the days working with you at UIC.

    Hi Drivera,

I enjoyed reading the last couple months worth, especially your wry personal take on the U.S. hospital system posted in the last 3 months. Your reportage of the suspected heart attack mimicked mine to a Tee.

I wish you would occasionally revisit the old World-Wide-Senior forum, now hosted by Tap-a-Talk. I( think I am the only USian still there.)

    You are missed.
